After a particularly stressful day at work and towards the end of a stressful week, I’m on my way home at 9.30pm. I see this tall gentleman smartly dressed in a dark brown suit with darker brown shoes to match.
He’s probably 6ft tall and I’m wondering where he’s going at this hour looking like he just stepped out of his dressing room when all I can think of is how I can fast forward in time to crawl into my bed.
Only to discover that he is walking a dog. You’d expect a man that tall and all that would be walking an equally tough looking dog only to find that the dog is just slightly bigger than a chihuahua!

I can explain that…he just got back from work. Poor Scoopy was whining because he hadn’t been out all day. Before he flicked on the Tv and crumbled into the sofa, Mister mustered the last dregs of energy in the only way a dog lover would and takes little Scoopy for a walk….

Or he could just be on his way out and just decided to walk the dog before he goes out…..
I can’t wait to read this book. It is a torture reading the taster everytime without knowing……..
